Terminei as pegas na 3ª feira e ontem deixei as luvas quase prontas (só falta os acabamentos). O aniversário da avó Noca é hoje, mas acabei de saber que a festa é só no sábado, por isso hoje posso dar-me ao luxo de ter uma folga. Sim, porque desde sábado não tenho pensado noutra coisa...
Pelo caminho, parti duas agulhas da máquina (oops) e cortei, por duas vezes, sim, duas!, a luva sempre do mesmo lado em vez de aplicar o princípio da simetria (hello?!). Não sei se têm noção do ar confuso que eu fiz quando vi que tinha as costas da mão direita em triplicado em vez de ter as costas e a frente.
Riam-se à vontade, que eu também já o fiz!
As fotos são para breve, para perceberem melhor porque é que disse que tinha improvisado para contornar o meu lack of know-how no que toca a acolchoar.

I finished the pot holders on tuesday and left the gloves nearly finished (only the binding is missing). Grandma Noca's birthday is today, but I just found out that the party is not until saturday, so today I can take the day off. I haven't done anything else but her present since saturday...
Along the way, I managed to break two machine needles (oops) and cut twice, yes twice, the same side of the glove, instead of cutting simetric sides (hello?!). You have no idea how confused I must have looked when I realised I had the back of the right hand three times instead of having one back and one front.
Laugh away, I know I have!
I'll post some photos soon, so that you can see what I meant about improvising to compensate for my lack of batting know-how.
