Passei o Domingo a fazer novamente a mala reversível da Amy Butler (e novamente sem o laço) com os tecidos que já tinha comprado há uns tempos a pensar na minha amiga Sílvia. Ela faz anos hoje, mas ontem à noite, mal acabei a mala, fui logo ter com ela para lhe dar o presente. Ela foi de férias hoje e precisava de levar a mala nova, não acham? Ela adorou!!! Sinceramente, as fotos podem não estar famosas, mas a mala ficou um mimo. Este tecido com flores dá com tudo e acho que combina muito bem com o tecido que escolhi para o interior (ou exterior, depende do ponto de vista, porque é uma mala reversível).
Mas foi uma aventura fazer esta mala de cor. Já não me lembrava de metade dos passos. A professora Aldina fez-me cá uma falta. Isto é para aprender a começar a tirar apontamentos nas aulas de costura!!!

I spent my Sunday sewing once again the reversible Amy Butler bag (once again, minus the bow) with the fabrics I had bought thinking of my friend Sílvia. It's her birthday today, but yesterday evening, immediatly after finishing sewing the bag, I went to meet her to give it to her. She was leaving for her summer holidays today and she needed her new bag, don't you think? She loved it! Honestly, the pictures are crap but the bag came together really nicely. This flower pattern combines with everything and really gets along with the fabric I chose for the interior (or exterior, depending on your point of view, since it is a reversible bag).
It was an adventure to sew this bag by heart. I couldn't remember half the steps! I missed teacher Aldina a lot. This should teach me to take notes in my sewing classes!
